Tenacity[]
Tenacity is a mechanic that reduces the duration of crowd control effects. It does not affect the potency/strength of the effect. Tenacity will not stack with other sources of Tenacity.
Tenacity works on: Blind, Forced Actions (Charm, Terrify, Fear and Taunt), Pacify, Silence, Slow and Stun.
Tenacity does not work on: Airborne (Knockback, Knockup and Pull), Attack Speed Reduction and Suppression.
Tenacity reduces the duration of Crowd Control effects by a percentage. X amount of Tenacity will grant X% reduced Crowd Control duration.
Having 35 Tenacity results in 35% reduced Crowd Control duration.
When multiple source of items have tenacity, the most powerful relevant effect applying to that statistic is the one that takes effect.

Sources of Tenacity[]
Cloak and Dagger: +35 tenacity, +20% attack speed, +20% critical chance. 1450 gold.
Eleisa's Miracle: +35 tenacity, +25 health regeneration per 5, +20 mana regeneration per 5. 1300 gold.
Mercury's Treads: +35 tenacity, +25 magic resistance, Unique: Enhanced Movement 2. 1200 gold.
Moonflair Spellblade: +35 tenacity, +50 ability power. 1200 gold.
Crowd Control Reduction[]
Crowd Control Reduction (or CC Reduction) is a mechanic that reduces the duration of crowd control effects. It does not affect the potency/strength of the effect. CC Reduction will stack multiplicatively with Tenacity and other sources of CC Reduction.
Note: Both Tenacity and CC Reduction have the exact same mechanic, but these two mechanics has different names to easily differ which stat can or cannot stack.

For example, having 35 Tenacity along with 40% CC reduction from Irelia's Ionian Fervor and 10% CC reduction from File:Juggernaut.png Juggernaut results in 64.9% reduced crowd control duration.
Sources of CC Reduction[]
Champion abilities[]
Dr. Mundo's Burning Agony reduces the duration of CC while active by 10% / 15% / 20% / 25% / 30%.
Garen's Courage reduces the duration of CC while active by 30%.
Irelia's Ionian Fervor reduces the duration of CC by 10% / 25% / 40% for 1 / 2 / 3 nearby enemy champion(s).
Singed's Insanity Potion reduces the duration of CC by 10% / 15% / 20% for 25 seconds.
Trundle's Contaminate reduces the duration of CC by 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% / 40% while active.
Masteries/spells[]
Cleanse reduces the duration of CC by 65% for 3 seconds (4 seconds with File:Summoner's Resolve.png Summoner's Resolve).
File:Juggernaut.png Juggernaut reduces the duration of CC by 10%.
Trivia[]
Tenacity's in-game icon is the same icon used for Cho'Gath's Vorpal Spikes along with Baron Nashor's passive buff.
All currently available items with this stat provide 35 Tenacity.
Tenacity was introduced with Patch 1.0.0.118.
